Sophie Aubourg holds degrees from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas and the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, where she earned a Master II in Public Litigation. She also spent a year studying at the University of Oxford (Diploma in Legal Studies, Christ Church).
Sophie has been a member of the Paris Bar since early 2024 and joined VOLTA in 2023.
She gained solid experience in the energy sector through internships in the legal departments of EDF and the Ministry for the Ecological Transition, as well as at several French and international law firms (Norton Rose Fulbright, Allen & Overy).
She provides advisory and litigation services on issues related to energy law, as well as environmental and public law. She has developed specific expertise in energy law and the regulations governing photovoltaic projects (agri-PV, ZAN regulation, etc.).
