For the past fifteen years, Maxime has worked in the renewable energy sector, advising developers, investors, banking and financial institutions, and production facility operators on all aspects of their projects. He assists the firm’s clients with contractual issues during the development phase, as well as with power purchase agreements, financing, and acquisitions or disposals.
He is particularly well-versed in the transactional operations that define the lifecycle of renewable energy projects, as well as the associated market practices.
He is a member of various committees within the wind energy trade association (France renouvelables), including the Corporate PPA committee, the economic committee, and the Law and Regulations committee. Maxime Lavayssière has taught contract law at ESMA (École Supérieure de Management en Alternance).
